For our Saturday evening date, we headed to Neoguri-gul, a pub near Moran Station. We were hunting for a bar with good vibes around Moran Station and stumbled on this spot online — the photos looked so inviting that we decided to go right away.
Bottom line: it's a lovely spot for tasty bar bites, a few rounds of soju, and easy, cozy conversation. The Toowoomba sujebi blew past our expectations, and before we knew it we were already planning a return visit. If you're looking for a date-night pub near Moran Station, this place earns my full recommendation as the first stop of your evening.

Neoguri-gul Menu Review
At Neoguri-gul we ordered pork tenderloin jeon and Toowoomba sujebi, paired with a bottle of soju. The portions were just right for two people kicking off the night. It's less of a fill-you-up dinner place and more of a spot to linger over a few plates while sipping slowly. Besides soju and beer they carry a wide range of drinks, so it's worth a visit whenever you're craving something a little special!

Toowoomba Sujebi (Must-Order)
Hands down, the star of the night was the Toowoomba sujebi! The cream sauce is thick and luscious with a spicy kick, so it never gets heavy. The chewy dough pieces soak up every bit of sauce — one spoonful followed by a shot of soju was a perfect match.
Think creamy Toowoomba-style pasta, but made with sujebi (Korean hand-torn dough noodles) for a more fun, bouncy texture. If you go to Neoguri-gul, don't leave without ordering this one.

Pork Tenderloin Jeon
Pork tenderloin jeon (thin slices of pork dipped in egg batter and pan-fried) was decent. Nothing that wowed us, but it's an easygoing nibble to balance out bolder plates like the Toowoomba sujebi.
We did wish the portion were a bit bigger. Still, given how much prices have climbed lately, it felt like fair value for the money.

Menu | Price | Quick Take |
|---|---|---|
Toowoomba sujebi | ₩19,800 | Spicy, velvety cream sauce — our #1 reorder |
Pork tenderloin jeon | ₩18,800 | Solid flavor, slightly small portion |
Is Neoguri-gul a Good Spot for a Date?
Neoguri-gul is a pub made for good conversation. Rather than a loud, rowdy crowd, the vibe is relaxed enough to sit face-to-face and chat. When we visited, most guests were couples or groups of young women.
The space isn't large, but it never felt cramped — it was clean and comfortable. With plenty of tables for two, it's an easy pick for couples, and it'd suit a casual drink with girlfriends just as nicely 🍶

Neoguri-gul Wait Times and Amenities
We showed up around 5 PM on a Saturday without a reservation and were seated immediately. Even though it was the weekend, the early hour meant it was still quiet. Keep in mind things may be busier later in the evening or during weekend peak hours.
Since it's close to Moran Station, we came by public transit. If you plan to drink, leaving the car at home is far more convenient. The restroom is a shared restroom outside the building, and smokers can use the ashtray in front of the shop.
